Raspbian Anydesk
AnyDesk provides a fast and easy to use iOS App. Connect to Windows Server, choose your preferred Input-Mode or use the special-keyboard to work on other platforms.
AnyDesk is compatible with iOS 11.0 or later.
I finally figured out how to install Anydesk/Team Viewer in Raspberry Pi running Ubuntu Mate. All you need to do is just add other architecture like 'armhf' or 'i 386' both should work, well I had download the armhf.deb file so I add the armhf cross platform to the repository and updated it, then it is standard installation process just by clicking on the downloaded file and install it. Hello, Just like the title says, I have an issue with Anydesk, on an older PC (Core2Duo, 3GB RAM, 32-bit version of Windows 10, if that makes a difference).
- The address book is not yet available for iOS
- The license can’t be assigned to iOS/iPadOS/tvOS devices yet
- Remote view is only possible since version 12.0
- Remote-control is not possible due to restrictions of the vendor
AnyDesk 5.0.0 for iOS and newer
With AnyDesk 5.0.0 and later on iOS, the background limitation has been removed for incoming connections.
Please note if using an AnyDesk client older than the following:
- AnyDesk 6.0.8 for Windows
- AnyDesk 6.0.1 for macOS
- AnyDesk 6.0.1 for Linux, FreeBSD, and Raspbian
you will receive a prompt asking you to update AnyDesk versions or to use the 'Remote Restart' action found in Actions on the AnyDesk toolbar.
Settings and Menu Tab
During session, open the Menu-Tab by swiping from left or right-hand side of the screen to control all aspects of the session.
Session Settings
- Choose Quality
- Session settings /permissions
- Choose Touchpad Mode
- Show remote cursor
Select Monitor
For remote devices with multiple monitors, choose the monitor to be displayed.
Show Keyboard
Blend soft keyboard in view.
Actions Menu
The Actions Menu provides the user additional options control the remote device:
- Chat
- Send SAS Command: Ctrl + Alt + Del (Windows)
- Take a screenshot
- Request elevation
- Show system info

To manage keys for other platforms, the special keyboard provides additional keys.
File Transfer
For AnyDesk 5.1.0 and newer, file transfer between an iOS and non-iOS operating system is possible.
File transfer to and from tvOS devices is currently not possible.
Transfer a file from an iOS device to a non-iOS device:
- Use the 'Share' action on the file you wish to transfer within the Apple File application, select 'More' then 'AnyDesk'.
- As of AnyDesk 5.2.0, this Share to AnyDesk feature is also available in the Apple Photos application.
- AnyDesk will open where you can enter or select the AnyDesk-ID you wish to transfer the file to.
- After the remote computer has accepted the AnyDesk connection, you can navigate to the folder you wish to place the File in and tap the red bar at the bottom to transfer the file.
Retrieve a file from a non-iOS device:
- Enter the AnyDesk-ID/Alias of the device you wish to retrieve the file from on the iOS device
- Hold the 'Connect' button and a prompt will appear asking if you want to 'Connect' regularly or start a File Transfer session.
- Once the remote device has accepted the connection, the iOS device will be transferred to a File Explorer view.
- Select the file you wish to retrieve and tap the red download button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the location where the downloaded file should be saved on the iOS device.
tvOS
AnyDesk for tvOS shares many of the features and settings from the AnyDesk for iOS app. Below you will find a tutorial of how to use our tvOS app which can also be found within the app itself.
