CopyClip
I stopped using copyclip as it it messed up drawings a lot, can you explain the mouse insertion please. My mouse doesn't show this command upon right-click. Mike Lenherr wrote: ConradInstead of using CTRL+V to paste, do a right mouse click in your destination drawing and one of the menu options is to place as block. CopyClip lets you manage and access your clipboard. We'll cut to the chase - the app is easy to use and gets the job done.
Issue
You received the following error when attempting to copy objects in your drawing:
Cause
The objects you attempted to copy may contain Proxy Objects, which are preventing the Copy command from working properly.
To prevent this issue in future drawings, always follow our steps to clean the main drawing and all Xrefs.
Solution
You can fix this issue by completing our drawing cleanup steps. However, note that our Nuke drawing cleanup tool deletes all Layout tabs from your drawing. If you're on a deadline or simply don't want to follow our cleanup steps on your drawing at this point, you can complete the steps below to export the problematic drawing to an AutoCAD file without Proxy Objects.
1. Type -ExportToAutoCAD in the Command line and press Enter.
2. When prompted with Export options, type F for Format.
Press Enter.
3. When prompted to Enter file format, type 2013.
Press Enter.
4. When prompted with Export options, type B for Bind.

The steps outlined above will result in a drawing file without Proxy Objects. However, we highly recommend completing our drawing cleanup steps on future drawings and Xrefs to prevent this type of issue.
