Citrix Workspace App Freezing
The workstation is a Win10 Pro on 1909 with Citrix Workspace 2002. The workstation can connect to the published applications fine, but then they freeze after 5-10 minutes of usage. For example, if I launch Excel i can type and edit for 5-10 minutes and then Excel freezes. As a non-admin user of Citrix Workspace app, you must contact your company’s Help Desk or IT Support since they manage the Citrix resources accessible by Citrix Workspace app. The following are the most common questions we receive from non-admin users with a brief explanation for why your company’s Help Desk/IT Support team is the fastest. There's 'Workspace session' settings but those only apply to Web connections (default timeout = 20m). With 'Session idle timer interval' policies we're able to disconnect active desktop sessions but that has been 1/2 the battle lately. We do have a ADC on-premise and have configured Citrix Cloud to use the ADC over the Gateway Service.

If any of the application freezes or stops working while you are in Citrix workspace, then please follow the below steps:
- Log off from the Citrix Workspace, login again and test.
- To log-off the Citrix workspace –> Click on the right-side icon as shown below to log off.
- Open Citrix Workspace and Login to your Citrix Account.
- If log off and login does not help, restart your local computer and then try again.
